William’s Atlantic Sunrise pipeline, slated for construction through Columbia County, has prevented the farmers of Hearts & Bones Farm from farming the land this season. While unable to use the fields for CSA and their market garden, organic farmers Chris McCallum and Jill Lashmett refuse to abandon their land to the natural gas industry.
This summer, with the help of the Columbia County Against the Pipeline Campaign, the Shalefield Organizing Committee, and the community, Hearts & Bones farm will be “Planted Against the Pipeline,” featuring flowers of resistance, a pumpkin patch, and more!
